Our principal and founder

Ag Engagement Lab is based in Singapore and was founded in 2026 by David Penna.

David has over 25 years experience in the crop science/ agri-tech industry spanning biotechnology, seeds, crop protection/pesticides and fertilizer technologies. This includes roles in several well known companies, including Monsanto, Syngenta, FMC and OCP Nutricrops.

Ag Engagement Lab also has access to additional expertise as required to support our core work. This includes medical stewardship, specialty non-crop products (eg used in professional pest control, turf etc) and other related areas.
